We offer quality vacation rental apartments to tourists visiting Rio de Janeiro. We can offer an apartment usually for less than a comparable hotel might charge. Our apartments offer a safe alternitive to Hotels with 99% of the buildings having 24 hour doormen. They also offer a more private accommodation than Hotels can offer.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
We saw a need for an alternative to the high cost of Hotels in Rio de Janeiro.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
I believe our first website was in 2001.
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
we reinvest much of our profits back into the company.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
I think would offer videos of each and every apartment we have listed. We are also in the process of launching a few other websites that offer valuable information on what to do and see while in Rio de Janeiro.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
In the last 6 years we have become one of the top 2 or 3 vacation apartment rental agencies in Rio de Janeiro.
What has been your biggest challenge?
Since I am an American living in Brazil, the biggest chalange has been the language.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
We list our website on as many search engines as possible and as many websites offering vacation rentals as possible.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
I have been running our website since it's inception. I expect to continue for the foreseeable future.
