After economic stagnation in the 1990's and 1980's, Brazil is experiencing continued economic stability and rebust economic growth. Improved opportunities at home may lead to a decrease in emigration to the United States and Europe. This website also has a chart that shows Brazilian Emigrants by County Residence from the 2000 Brazilian Consulate Report.
