Brazil is, I think, the country with the most successful biofuels program in the world. It started in the early 70's and now the project is bearing fruit. However, European competitors are discrediting ethanol-based fuels as damaging to the environment and main contributor to rise in food prices. I do not wonder why they are trying to bring down something that is damaging to their business. However, Americans think otherwise. Read more about their study in this website. U.S. says Brazilian ethanol doesn't increase food prices, destroy Amazon rainforest Tags: biofuels • environment • ethanol • gasoline • 0 Comments. - Permalink |

In the recent years, we have witness how cruel man has become.Man abused mother nature. They do cut tress illegally. Create wars and terrors that resulted in destruction of lots of earths natural resources. Primarily, the Amazon jungle is one of the greatest victim of man illegal activities. The thick forest is nowhere to be found now. And the trees are starting to dwindle. While on the other hand, Brazil is having its land problems. I wonder when will man stop doing things they sure know can affect their children's future. Brazil is famous for its beauty in many ways and especially the carnival festival. But the food and drinks of Brazil are worth a mention as well. Of course it is the largest coffee producer of the world but still is not coffee which qualifies for its national drink but a form of sugar cane alchohol better known by the name of Cachaca. So eat, drink and be merry over here is the principle of life.
