Confidence Crisis of Brazil's Economy

Brazil is suffering from what they call "a lack of confidence" in their economy. Brazil's National Confederation of Industry (CNI) showed that in its three - month poll that the growth in production, employment and industrial capacity in Jul-Sep. failed to retain the Brazilians' confidence in their economy. Brazil's Tourism Grew by 20 Percent

Tourism in not affected despite of the international financial crisis proved by Brazil's tourism sector as it keep sound and growing according to official statistics release.

Jeanine Pires, president of Brazilian Institute of Tourism said that the numbers grew by 20 percent form January to September form the same period of 2007 due to the large surge of foreign tourists and and more local tourist.

Brazil as Viewed by an Expat

We all get a lot of information when we ask people around us. They may see things that we do not, and this may greatly improve whatever we are working on.

In a similar manner, we can all learn something about Brazil once we find out what foreigners think about the country. Why are there so many expats living in this side of the world? Why do they bother?

Open Source in Brazil

We have already heard about offshoring, which is mainly outsourcing work to far-flung areas such as India, the Philippines, and Eastern Europe.

There is also this term that we call 'nearshoring', which pertains to oursourcing work to areas nearby to America such as Latin America (most especially Brazil).

There are many reasons for these developments. One important contributor is the Open Source revolution in the country.
