Brazil's money is called Real or R$ or simply use BRL and is composed of 100 centavo to make one BRL. To date, 1R$ is equal to US$0.46.
If you have someone abroad working for you or a relative working overseas, then living in Brazil is pretty cheap for you. However, for the locals of this country, their salary is very low, so locals find living in Brazil very high.
