We are the largest real estate consulting firm in Rio de Janeiro with more than 1000 units for sale. We negotiate residential, commercial, hotel and industrial units. We are the largest appraisal company operating nationwide in Brazil.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
To be able to make our service available to consumers 24 hours a day during 7 days a week.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
June 26, 2000.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
After doing several research job.
What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?
Our website opens very quickly, and all information on the services and on the properties on sale are very objective.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
Certainly keep for income.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
It balances pretty good.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
We would make it 100% automated, pulling all infos directly from our data base, change that would require a completely change on the site structure.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
For sure! Definitely we would keep up with the demand needs.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
None of them until now.
What has been your biggest challenge?
To be able to keep our website always updated and to always have all inbound emails answered.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Websites directories listings and newspaper classified ads.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
It has been runing according to our expectations.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
It will never happen! We have paved the success road, and thats the way we are moving ahead.
