Rio De Janiero is a southern Brazilian city and state could be translated as "River of January", commonly known as just Rio or "river", and sometimes nicknamed by "A Cidade Maravilhosa" - The Marvelous City.

The giant statue of Jesus Christ - "Christ the Redeemer" built on top of Corcovado Mountain is made one of the most famous local landmarks of Brazil is located in rio.
