We implement websites, real state and ecommerce solutions using Joomla CMS and diferent components such as EZRealty and VirtueMart. We also work with SEO (seach engine optimization) campaigns, optimizing content for keyword density and quality, backlink campaigns and pay-per-click.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
I have launched this website to promote my work because the local market was missing a serious solution provider.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
I have been working with web technology since 2004 when I builded a system for task tracking using J2EE.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
To achieve the local market, wich is Florianopolis and region.
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
The serious aproach to Search Engine Optimization used in the solutions I deliver. Most companies around here deliver Flash based websites and this is almost a joke regarding SEO.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
To keep it to income.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
So far is not the expected, but as independent bussiness I guess a slow start is normal.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
I wouldnt change much of my site but to invest in Pay-Per-click campaigns to get qualified trafic.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
I guess not. I would need extra help.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
I didnt have unexpected costs but my headache is to encrease the quantity of clients.
What has been your biggest challenge?
To make it profitable.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
SEO friendly website and backlinks.
